Community Information Support Services, in collaboration with the Queensland United Australian South Sea Islander Council, is set to spearhead the Australian South Sea Islander Health Linking Project. This transformative initiative aims to comprehensively evaluate the delivery of health services for Australian South Sea Islander individuals within the Mackay Hospital and Health Service (HHS) region. Through this project, we aspire to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies that will enhance the healthcare experiences and outcomes for this community. Our collective dedication to addressing health disparities and fostering better access to care underscores our commitment to the well-being of Australian South Sea Islander people in the Mackay HHS area.
